Media representatives searching the re-launched ehf-euro.com website for press releases and the latest edition of the Daily Bulletin are likely to leave empty handed.

The EHF Media and Communications team has launched a brand new ‘media portal’ ahead of the first matches of the Men’s EHF EURO 2014 where all media specific information is to be posted, providing an essential service for the 700 plus journalists and media professionals reporting from Denmark.

Commenting on the new development, JJ Rowland, the EHF’s Head of Media and Communications, said: “With the re-launch of the ehf-euro.com website, we’ve focused on providing handball fans with engaging content through the new website as well as our numerous social media channels.

“At the same time we’ve looked at how we can improve our information services for the media; providing post-match statements, photo content and media releases in one place, making reporting from the event easier for the media.”

The new portal also features a ‘media news service’ provided by the EHF Media and Communications team, supplemented by a team of eight student journalists working on the EHF Young Reporter Project.

Accreditated media representatives in Denmark will receive access to the media portal after a short registration process.

Media representatives can request access to the portal by sending an email (media@eurohandball.com) to the EHF Media and Communications Department.
