Hi all again,
After a great game against Hungary, today we com up against Norway. At a glance we may seem the "Weakest Link" group, but there are several factors that make this game a tough one.
Norway have great players like Lund, Kjelling, Tvedten, Myrhol, Erevik, Mamellund ... players with great quality and experience, both great teams, and international tournaments with your selections.
The proximity of Aalborg with Norway will do we play away from home, it is true that the Scandinavian crowd will be there in force and I think that is a factor to consider. The loss to Iceland in the first championship game, means they have to win to progress to the next round with some points.
Finally, and this is a personal issue and my partner is Norwegian. So if I play well today, I'll have to put up with it at home...
After a day of rest, the squad continues with all the desire to move forward at #ehfeuro2014. Perhaps with a little more confidence even after the good feelings that left us all against Hungary, but we know that what matters is how it ends, not begins.
I have already been looking forward to the game, to feel the previous nerves by the uncertainty of what will happen, seeing my teammates performing their routines from when we leave the hotel until the game starts (one day I will make a post explaining mine, you will become crazy...) and that environment and team spirit that permeates through this team when we fight for a common good.
It's the second match of the championship, on that we should win and allow us go to the main round with at least 2 points, we have to have more confidence in ourselves and simply has to show everyone that we want more!
A big hug and see you all at the match!
